First Speakers Announced for 2017 LIWA Aquatics Conference

The Board of LIWA Aquatics is proud announce that once again we are able to bring an international speaker to present at the 2017 Conference and Trade Display. Becky Hulett will maintain our association with the United States and bring a different insight to this year's event. Jeff, Gary Johnson and I have seen both Becky present on a number of occasions and feel she will had great value to the conference. Becky Hulett is the Aquatic Supervisor for the City of Phoenix, she has 20 years' experience in the aquatics field. A graduate from Northern Arizona University, she began her occupation in the education field, but found her passion in Aquatics. She started her career by training and managing lifeguards. For the last eight years, she has had the opportunity to influence and lead the entire Aquatic Section for the Parks Department in Phoenix. She supervises three full time aquatic coordinators and oversees 65 pool management staff at 29 outdoor facilities.     Becky will present a number of presentations in her area of expertise including: •Implementing your vision• Mystery shopper – 'making it real'• Why lifeguard freeze• Lessons learned in PhoenixThe addition of Becky  to program this year will ensure LIWA Aquatics members are aware of latest world trends in our industry and the supervision of patrons and the training of lifeguards
