About the Role

YMCA WA is currently recruiting for a fixed term full time Aquatics Coordinator based at South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gratwick Aquatic Centre in Port Hedland. The fundamental duty of the Aquatics Coordinator is to ensure all aquatic centres operate to optimal performance at all times, meeting current and future needs of patrons while providing a safe, hygienic, clean and presentable facility environment.

Duties


 Ensure that all aquatic facilities operate within and maintain, all applicable compliance
 Maintain and oversee technical capability and operational competence of all relevant aquatic staff
 Develop, maintain and deliver annual asset and venue maintenance schedules and execution activities
 Lead, direct and support the aquatic teams
 Support the development and implementation of annual performance budget and business plans
 Prepare reports on financial and performance indicators


Skills and Experience


 Tertiary qualifications in Business or Sport / Recreation Management
 RLSSWA Pool Operations ,Pool Lifeguard and HLTAID003 First Aid Certificates
 Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
 Staff leadership and management experience
 Deliver concise and timely reporting against key result areas
 Financial management, including budget preparation skills
 Application knowledge of Microsoft and generic leisure centre management software
 National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
